DEVELOPER Ingles Group is putting a new face on development in Gladstone, pulling the wraps of the first of 25 new homes worth $10.5 at its New Kaleentha Heights project.
Ingles Group, which is one of Australia’s largest privately owned residential developers, has almost sold out of the 77-lot estate located on Sharyn Drive in the city’s New Auckland district.
Subsidiary company Ingles Homes is now racing to build 25 homes for its customers with more than 50 people working on the estate during the construction phase.
Ingles Group managing director Graeme Ingles said it was pleasing to see so many New Kaleentha Heights buyers had signed up to have their new homes built by Ingles Homes.
He said Ingles Homes had completed the first house and the new owners had already moved in.
``There will be a lot more new homes to follow in the coming months,’’ said Mr Ingles.
``I envisage that the project will run here for at least another six months. And while the strength of Gladstone’s economy is attracting a lot of builders to the region, I don’t think there is another housing company that is building as many houses in Gladstone as Ingles Homes is at the moment.’’
New Kaleentha Heights offers fixed-price turnkey architectural quality house and land packages. Ingles Group now has only six house and land packages left, starting from $408,000 and one land lot for $130,000.
The 25 homes now under construction by Ingles Homes will be a mix of one and two storey houses, with a large range of designs being constructed.
The first home to be completed was a Millstream while the grandest home under construction at the residential community is a luxurious two-storey Venetian.
The Venetian is a large, modern, highset 4 bedroom plus study home that boasts a media room, massive open living areas and a gallery. The air-conditioned main bedroom includes a large ensuite, walk in robes and a private deck.
Upon completion, Ingles Homes include a comprehensive package of stainless steel appliances as well as a dishwasher and reverse cycle air-conditioner, flick-mixer tap ware, double lock-up garage, full landscaping and fencing, security and fly screens, window locks, vertical blinds and exposed aggregate driveway and paths.
