Queensland developer Ingles Group has appointed former Devine Homes construction supervisor Terry Franklin to oversee construction of its houses in Gladstone.
Mr Franklin, who was working on Devine’s projects on the Gold Coast’s northern suburbs, moved north to Gladstone three weeks ago to take up the position.
But he is no stranger to the city having worked on the construction of the Toolooa State High School during a previous stint in the central Queensland city.
Ingles Group is now in the process of building 25 houses at its New Kaleentha Heights residential community. The 77-lot estate is all but sold out, with less than a handful of properties still available for sale.
However, Mr Franklin does not expect to finish the project for at least six months.
``We still have a number of applications before the council, so it will be a while before we can get started on them.’’
In the meantime, Ingles Group has already announced it is looking for further acquisitions in the Gladstone region.
