A Solid Foundation

With origins dating back to 1971, Ingles Group began as an accountancy practice in Tasmania under the ownership and management of CPA, Registered Auditor and Liquidator, Graeme Ingles.

Moving operations to the Gold Coast in 1974, Graeme identified the enormous growth potential that was clearly evidenced by new business start-ups and interstate migration to the Coast during the ‘70s.

Capitalising on this growth, Ingles Group formed its development arm in 1980 and commenced acquiring suitable residential and commercial development sites.

In 1984 Ingles Group launched its first residential land subdivision in the Brisbane bayside suburb of Thornlands, totalling 180 land lots.

Since then, Ingles Group’s property development division has flourished, together with founding company, Ingles Accounting Pty Ltd, which maintains its widely-respected position on the Gold Coast as a leading accountancy firm for small-to-medium-sized businesses.

A number of other businesses operate under the Ingles Group banner, headed by senior managers primarily sourced from large financial institutions.
